This weekend was a very eventful weekend! Friday, I attended the Mrs. Patriotic Pageant, an official preliminary to Mrs. Delaware United States. The contestants gave a speech on the 4th of July and were judged on their walk and poise. My beautiful friend, Hilary Thompson, was crowned the winner and will go on the compete in the Mrs. Delaware United States Pageant in April 2011. Congrats Hilary! And job well done to Siouxzan Moore of Moore Pageant Productions for putting on a phenomenal event.
Then on Saturday, Geoff and I were asked to judge a pageant that was a part of Dover's Summer Jam. It was Geoff's first time judging a pageant and he took his responsibility very seriously! If anyone needs a judge for their next event please let him know! We ended our weekend celebrating with Hilary and her family at an impromptu pool party at our home.
