Leukemia--It's a Big Deal!

Did you know that 1 in 77 people will be diagnosed with Leukemia during their lifetime? That means that we all will be or have been effected by this disease in some way. Leukemia, and other blood cancers (lymphoma and myeloma) will be the cause of 54,020 deaths in the United States this year. That is 148 people each day! I don't know about you, but I can't stand idle! That is why I am participating in the Delaware Mud Run! To date, my team has raised $1,075. That's awesome! However, we can do better! Our goal is not to merely run the race and get dirty.....I loathe mud. But I am thrilled to secure funds for such a worthy cause. We want to be the top fundraising team at the run.
