The first view weeks as Mrs. Delaware have been amazing. While it has been a whirlwind of activity, I'm loving every single minute of it. On Thanksgiving weekend, I attended the Miss Delaware USA 2011 Pageant with Hilary Thompson (Mrs. Patriotic US and Close Friend). Julie Citro, a friend of mine, was giving up her title as Miss DE USA 2010. She worked incredibly hard to win Miss DE USA and is a perfect example of how hard work, perseverance, and determination can pay off. The following week, I had my Official Photo Shoot with Pageant Sponsor, Eric Godwin. It was so much fun and we got some great shots. I will definitely post some soon. I also attended the Miss Southern Delaware and Miss Rehoboth Beach Pageant in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. I met some wonderful people an truly enjoyed the experience. I finally got to meet Evelyn McCleod, the reigning America's Mrs. and former Mrs. NJ US. She has a wonderful spirit! I can't wait to get to know her better.
I'm now busy filling up my schedule and going over details for Mrs. America. I'm also wrapping up work for the year. We are launching a new product in January. So it will be full steam ahead come January. And of course, Christmas is right around the corner and I have not done anything to prepare for it. That's on the list this week!
